A Better Way | The Announcement
Hello, friends – and for those who are new here I’m Karen Sheridan. I’ve been coming to you in my role as Headmistress of Earth School, but today I’m here with something important:
Earth School is evolving.
And so am I.
And so, I suspect, are you.
Earth School Primer has always been about freeing ourselves from the toxic people, patterns, systems, and beliefs that kept us small. Kept us stuck.It’s been about remembering who we are — and reclaiming our power.
But healing isn’t the final destination.
It’s the doorway to building the life we were meant to live.
So the natural question becomes: What comes next? What comes after we start the life-long journey of healing?
Because the world isn’t waiting while we get our shit together.
In many ways, the world needs as much healing as we do — maybe more. Or maybe it’s the opposite – maybe the world is spiraling because so many of us need healing.
Chicken or egg.
But either way, so many of us are looking around and feeling the same truth:
There has to be a better way.
A better way to work.
A better way to govern.
A better way to health – and to health care.
A better way to educate our children.
A better way to care for each other, and our planet.
A better way to build systems that actually serve people — not the other way around.
A better way to live. To thrive, dammit, instead of just survive.
And I know you’re adding to this list as you hear it – and many of you carry ideas… visions… solutions…
but thought you didn’t have the clout, credentials, or resources to bring them to life.
That’s exactly why Earth School is stepping into its next chapter.
It’s called:
A Better Way.
A movement.
A living experiment.
A collective, collaborative act of courage that isn’t waiting for perfection or permission.
For misfits.
For sensitives.
For visionaries.
For neurodivergent thinkers.
For creative outsiders.
For all of those, but really for anyone who looks at the world and feels:
“I know there has to be a better way — and I want to help build it.”
You don’t have to be neurodivergent.
You don’t need credentials.
You only need to think differently — or desire differently. You only need to care about building something better.
If the old world never fit you, or if you’re simply over it – you belong here.
This isn’t theory.
This is practice.
Together.
The first step is something I’m calling:
The Earth School Think Tank.
Not a traditional think tank.
No gatekeepers.
No hierarchy.
No degrees required.
Just people with ideas, with experience, with imagination —
ready to co-create solutions that our world actually needs.
This is where collaboration becomes medicine.
Where ideas grow legs.
Where new systems begin.

A movement.
